An Act Authorizing the Town of Wendell to Provide for Alternative Energy and Sanitation Systems.
 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding the provisions of section 127A of chapter 111 of the General Laws, or any other general or special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, the Town of Wendell is hereby authorized to adopt by-laws or rules and regulations to permit alternative energy, heating and sanitation systems for use in owner-occupied residential dwelling units.

              SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
