An Act relative to the town caucus in the town of Westhampton. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law or by-law to the contrary, the acts and proceedings of the town of Westhampton at the town caucus held on April 25, 2011, and all actions taken pursuant thereto, are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed, notwithstanding any omissions from the notice for the caucus regarding any town offices for which candidates were to be nominated or any other defect or omission in the calling of the caucus. SECTION 2. Notwithstanding any general or special law or by-law to the contrary, a quorum for a town caucus in the town of Westhampton shall be 15 voters. SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
