An Act designating the birthplace of Michael Bartlett in the town of Oxford.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the highway division of the department of transportation shall erect and maintain suitable markers along the section of state highway route 12, between the intersections of Clara Barton road and Maple avenue, signifying the birthplace and home of Michael Bartlett (1901-1978), the internationally renowned tenor, star of Broadway, films, radio, opera, theater, and concert stage. Said markers shall bear such designation and be erected in compliance with the standards of the department.
