An Act designating the walking path along Lynn Shore Drive and at Red Rock Park in Lynn as the Senator Walter J. Boverini Scenic Walkway.

An Act designating the walking path along Lynn Shore Drive and at Red Rock Park in Lynn as the Senator Walter J. Boverini Scenic Walkway.


 

              Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and b y the authority of the same, as follows:
 

              SECTION 1.   The walking path along Lynn Shore Drive and at Red Rock Park, located in Lynn,
shall be designated and known as the Senator Walter J. Boverini Scenic Walkway, in honor of
Walter J. Boverini, World War II Air Force veteran, who flew 35 combat missions over Europe and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, and former state senator and majority leader from Lynn , who honorably served in the Senate from 1972-1994. The department of conservatio n and recreation shall erect suitable markers bearing the designation in compliance with the standards of the department.
