An Act relative to the District Local Technical Assistance Fund .
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to authorize forthwith the transfer of funds to the District Local Technical Assistance Fund , therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, not less than 10 days after the effective date of this act, the comptroller shall transfer $2,000,000 from the General Fund to the District Local Technical Assistance Fund, established by section 2XXX of chapter 29 of the General Laws. SECTION 2. This act shall take effect as of July 1, 2009. |
