An Act RELATIVE TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS POLICE
DEPARTMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 116 of chapter 6 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2008 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 42 and 43, the words “and candidates for appointment as municipal police officers” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- , candidates for appointment as municipal police officers and the University of Massachusetts police officers.
SECTION 2. Section 116A of said chapter 6, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “department”, in line 15, the following words:- the University of Massachusetts,.
SECTION 3. Section 116C of said chapter 6, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “department”, in line 9, the first time it appears, the following words:- the University of Massachusetts,.
