Brownsberger and Steven A. Tolman (by vote of the town) that the town of Belmont be authorized to grant liquor licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages, reports recommending that the accompanying bill (House, No. 5024) ought to pass. An Act relative to the granting of licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages in certain restaurants in the Town of Belmont.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Belmont may, at its discretion, grant licenses for the sale of all alcoholic beverages in restaurants having at least 60 and not more than 250 seats; provided, however, that not more than 10 such licenses shall be in effect, including those presently issued. The licenses shall be subject to all the other provisions of said chapter 138 of the General Laws. SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. |
