An Act relative to the survivor benefits of Michael J. Simeone..
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Massachusetts State Retirement Board shall change Michael J. Simeone?s retirement pension from Option (a) to Option (b) as referenced in subdivision (2) of section 12 of chapter 32 of the General Laws when he retired on June 30, 2007.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
