An Act relative to impartial medical examinations . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: SECTION 1. The 3rd paragraph of subsection (2) of section 11 A of chapter 152 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after the 1st sentence, the following sentences:- The claimant or employee shall have the right to record or videotape the examination process at his own expense, to choose the particular method of recording or videotaping and shall be permitted to introduce same into evidence at the hearing. The claimant shall be advised of these rights by the department or its representative in writing. |
