  Section 6. Licenses issued under this chapter shall be valid for two years from the date of issue, but may be revoked at any time, subject to the provisions of said chapter thirty A, if the commissioner finds that the licensee is failing to adhere to the standards existing at the time of issuance of the license. The commissioner shall provide for timely renewal of existing licenses so that licensees may continue their activities uninterrupted.
