CHAPTER 261 AN ACT DESIGNATING A SECTION OF STATE HIGHWAY ROUTE 138 IN THE CITY OF FALL RIVER AS THE SEAMAN SECOND CLASS PAUL ROMEO PELLETIER MEMORIAL VIADUCT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

That section of state highway route 138 in the city of Fall River known as the Davol Street Viaduct, shall be designated and known as the Seaman Second Class Paul Romeo Pelletier Memorial Viaduct, in memory of Paul Romeo Pelletier, who was the third person from the city of Fall River killed in World War II and the first to be killed after the formal Declaration of War. Suitable markers bearing said designation shall be attached thereto by the department of public works in compliance with the standards of said department.
