CHAPTER 360 AN ACT CEDING TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA CONCURRENT JURISDICTION OVER UNITS OF THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE IN THE COMMONWEALTH.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The commonwealth hereby cedes concurrent jurisdiction over those lands and buildings hereinafter provided and administered by the National Park Service of the United States Department of the Interior.

The lands and buildings so included are as follows:-

(a) Adams National Historic Site in the city of Quincy, as described in a plan of land titled "Adams National Historic Site, city of Quincy, Massachusetts", dated December, 1978.

(b) Boston Afro-American National Historic Site, in the city of Boston, as described in a plan of land titled "Boundary Map, Boston African American National Historic Site", numbered BOAF - 80,000 and dated March, 1980.

(c) Boston National Historical Park in the city of Boston, as described in a plan of land titled "Boston National Historical Park, Suffolk County, Massachusetts", dated April 22, 1977.

(d) Cape Cod National Seashore, in the towns of Chatham, Orleans, Eastham, Truro, Provincetown and Wellfleet, as described in a plan of land titled "Boundary Map, Cape Cod National Seashore", dated February, 1978.

(e) Longfellow National Historic Site in the city of Cambridge, as described in a plan of land titled "Longfellow National Historic Site, Middlesex County, Massachusetts", dated May, 1973.

(f) John F. Kennedy National Historic Site in the town of Brookline, as described in a plan of land titled "John Fitzgerald Kennedy Birthplace National Historical Site, Town of Brookline, Massachusetts", dated June, 1968.

(g) Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site in the town of Brookline, as described in a plan of land titled "Boundary Maps, Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site, Brookline, Massachusetts".

(h) Lowell National Historical Park in the city of Lowell, as described in a plan of land titled "Boundary Map, Lowell National Historical Park, Lowell, Massachusetts", dated April, 1980.

(i) Minuteman National Historical Park in the towns of Concord, Lexington and Lincoln, as described in a plan of land titled "Minuteman National Historical Park, Middlesex County, Massachusetts", dated April, 1971.

(j) Salem Maritime National Historic Site in the city of Salem, as described in a plan of land titled "Boundary Map, Salem Maritime National Historic Site, Salem, Massachusetts", dated February, 1978.

(k) Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site in the town of Saugus, as described in a plan of land titled "Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site, Essex County, Massachusetts", dated February, 1969.

(l) Springfield Armory National Historic Site in the city of Springfield, as described in a plan of land titled "Boundary Map, Springfield Armory National Historic Site, Springfield, Massachusetts", dated January, 1974. All of which maps are recorded in the Federal Register and are on file in the offices of the National Park Service, Department of the Interior.

SECTION 2. Said concurrent jurisdiction shall be vested upon acceptance by the United States of America when the Director of the National Park Service files a notice of such acceptance with the governor and the state secretary.

SECTION 3. Exclusive jurisdiction in and over such tracts shall revert to and revest in the commonwealth whenever such tracts shall cease to be used for the purpose set forth in section one.
