CHAPTER 51 AN ACT REQUIRING MUNICIPALITIES TO NOTIFY REGIONAL SCHOOLS OF A VOTE CONCERNING THEIR BUDGETS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 16B of chapter 71 of the General Laws, as most recently amended by chapter 148 of the acts of 1982, is hereby further amended by inserting after the third paragraph the following paragraph:-

The clerk of the municipality shall within thirty days following a vote concerning a regional school budget or appropriation certify in writing to the treasurer of the regional school district the results of said vote by the municipality.
