Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 20A 1/2 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1986 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 70, the words "any fine established under the provisions of this section", and inserting in place thereof the following words:- the fine for the violation of the parking of motor vehicles within ten feet of a fire hydrant shall not be more than one hundred dollars, and provided, further, that any fine established under the provisions of this section for all other parking violations.
