Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding the provisions of section five of chapter one hundred and twenty-one B of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, four persons shall be appointed by the town manager and one person shall be appointed by the department of community affairs as members of the redevelopment authority of the town of Winchendon. Upon the initial appointment by the town manager, he shall designate one member who shall serve for a term of five years, one shall serve for a term of four years, one shall serve for a term of two years, and one shall serve for a term of one year, the member appointed by the department of community affairs shall serve initially for a term of three years. Thereafter as the term of any member of said redevelopment authority expires, his successor shall be appointed in the same manner for a term of five years from such expiration.
