Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The town of Amherst is hereby authorized to transfer the care, custody, and control of two certain parcels of land acquired for recreation and conservation purposes from the conservation commission and the leisure services and supplemental education department to the board of selectmen of said town. Said board of selectmen is hereby authorized to sell and convey said parcels for residential purposes.

Said parcels are identified as Parcel B and Parcel C in an order of taking dated April twenty-ninth, nineteen hundred and eighty-seven, recorded in the registry of deeds in the county of Hampshire on April thirtieth, nineteen hundred and eighty-seven.
