Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Article 8 of the charter of the city of Lynn, which is on file in the office of the archivist of the commonwealth, as provided in section twelve of chapter forty-three B of the General Laws, is hereby amended by striking out section 8-12 and inserting in place thereof the following section:-

Section 8-12. No person shall simultaneously hold more than one full time city office for which a salary or other emolument is payable from the city treasury. The hours worked in any part time position shall not conflict with the hours worked in any full time position. Nothing in this section shall be deemed to supercede the provisions of section twenty of chapter two hundred and sixty-eight A of the General Laws.
