Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to facilitate the issuance of bonds and notes to carry out the purposes of various acts passed during the regular annual legislative session of the year nineteen hundred and eighty-eight, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 11 of chapter 165 of the acts of 1988 is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 2 and 3, the words "section nine of House No. 6040 or any act resulting therefrom" and inserting in place thereof the following words:- section six of chapter two hundred and eight of the acts of nineteen hundred and eighty-eight.

SECTION 2. Section 12 of said chapter 165 is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 2 and 3, the words "section ten of House No. 6040 or any act resulting therefrom" and inserting in place thereof the following words:- section seven of chapter two hundred and eight of the acts of nineteen hundred and eighty-eight.

SECTION 3. Section 13 of said chapter 165 is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 2 and 3, the words "section forty-eight of House No. 6040 or any act resulting therefrom" and inserting in place thereof the following words:- section twenty-eight of chapter two hundred and eight of the acts of nineteen hundred and eighty-eight.

SECTION 4. Section 15 of said chapter 165 is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 2 and 3, the words "section twenty-eight of House No. 6040, or any act resulting therefrom" and inserting in place thereof the following words:- section twenty-eight of chapter two hundred and three of the acts of nineteen hundred and eighty-eight.

SECTION 5. This act shall take effect as of August second, nineteen hundred and eighty-eight.
