CHAPTER 146 AN ACT EXTENDING THE FISCAL YEAR NINETEEN HUNDRED AND NINETY-TWO ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE TOWN OF WEYMOUTH.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Weymouth is hereby authorized and directed, pending adoption of its fiscal year nineteen hundred and ninety-three annual budget, to continue its governmental operations for a period of up to three months, on a month to month basis, utilizing for each month one-twelfth of its fiscal year nineteen hundred and ninety-two annual budget as if the same had been appropriated for fiscal year nineteen hundred and ninety-three. Upon the adoption of its fiscal year nineteen hundred and ninety-three annual budget, appropriate adjustments in the various operating accounts shall be made in said annual budget.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.

Approved August 5, 1992.
