Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of chapter thirty B of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the Mendon-Upton regional school district is hereby authorized to convey a certain parcel of land which was acquired for school purposes to the town of Upton for any lawful municipal purposes in conformity with an offer made by said town. Said parcel is shown in a plan of land entitled "A plan of land of Mendon-Upton Regional School District Job #91-115, location Pleasant Street, Upton, Massachusetts", dated April 4, 1992 and drawn by David E. Teachout, Teachout Land Surveying, Inc. which is on file with said regional school district.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
