CHAPTER 191 AN ACT DESIGNATING THE PIER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS AT BOSTON AS THE JOHN T. FALLON PIER.

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to immediately designate the pier located at the University of Massachusetts at Boston as the John T. Fallon pier, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The pier located at the University of Massachusetts adjacent to the John F. Kennedy library in the city of Boston shall be designated and known as the John T. Fallon pier in honor of John T. Fallon's many contributions to the commonwealth.

Suitable markers bearing such designation shall be attached thereto by the trustees of the University of Massachusetts.

Approved September 21, 1992.
