Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Paragraph (d) of section 2 of chapter 32B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1990 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the sixth sentence the following sentence:- Teachers shall be deemed to be employees during the months of July and August for purposes of this chapter; provided, however, that employee contributions for such health insurance for those two months are deducted from the compensation paid for services rendered during the previous school year.
