CHAPTER 30 AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE SALARIES OF ELECTION COMMISSIONERS IN THE CITY OF LOWELL.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Chapter five hundred and ninety-four of the acts of nineteen hundred and forty-five is hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. Section 4 of chapter 154 of the acts of 1920, as most recently amended by section 1 of chapter 131 of the acts of 1923, is hereby further amended by striking out the last sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:- Each election commissioner shall receive an annual salary as the city council may by ordinance prescribe.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
