CHAPTER 338 AN ACT PROVIDING TENURE OF OFFICE FOR TIMOTHY P. RYAN AS CHIEF OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT IN THE TOWN OF MILLVILLE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the tenure of office of Timothy P. Ryan as chief of the police department in the town of Millville shall be unlimited, but he may be removed for just cause in accordance with the provisions of chapter thirty-one of the General Laws.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
