Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
The rest area located on Interstate highway route 195 in the town of Wareham shall be designated and known as the Reginald F. Washburn Memorial Rest Area, in memory of Reginald F. Washburn who served as a state engineer for thirty-two years and who recognized the potential of this area for recreational use and initiated the development of the site. Suitable markers bearing such designation shall be erected thereat by the department of highways in compliance with the standards of said department.
