CHAPTER 37 AN ACT DIRECTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STATE OFFICE BUILDINGS TO INSTALL AND MAINTAIN A PLAQUE TO HONOR THE LASTING CONTRIBUTIONS OF GENERAL MARQUIS DE LAFAYETTE AND THE FRANCO-AMERICAN COMMUNITY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The superintendent of state office buildings is hereby authorized and directed, subject to the approval of the art commission established under section nineteen of chapter six as to size and content, to accept, install and maintain a plaque in the state house to honor the lasting contributions of General Marquis de Lafayette and the Franco-American community. Said plaque shall be paid for by the Massachusetts Lafayette Committee, Inc.
