CHAPTER 390 AN ACT EXEMPTING THE POSITION OF POLICE CHIEF IN THE TOWN OF RANDOLPH FROM THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE LAW.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The position of police chief of the town of Randolph shall be exempt from the provisions of chapter thirty-one of the General Laws.

SECTION 2. The provisions of section one shall not impair the civil service status of any person employed in the position of police chief of the town of Randolph on the effective date of this act.
