Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
SECTION 1. The city of Gloucester, acting by and through its conservation commission, is hereby authorized to convey two parcels of land located in said city, acquired for conservation purposes, to the Gloucester Economic Development and Industrial Corporation to be used for economic development purposes. Said parcels are shown as parcels 1A and 1B on a plan of land entitled, "Plan of Land in Gloucester, MA, prepared for the city of Gloucester Economic Development and Industrial Corporation", dated February 26, 1996, drawn by Hancock Survey Associates, Inc. to be recorded at Essex south district registry of deeds.
SECTION 2. In consideration for the conveyance authorized in section one, the Gloucester Economic Development and Industrial Corporation shall convey to the conservation commission of the city of Gloucester a certain parcel of land located in said city to be used for conservation purposes under the provisions of section eight C of chapter forty of the General Laws. Said parcel is shown as parcel 2B on the plan of land described in section one.
