Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The town treasurer of the town of Foxborough is hereby authorized to pay to Marino Brothers of N.E., Inc. the sum of twenty thousand nine hundred and thirty-five dollars for labor and materials furnished for certain restoration projects in said town, notwithstanding the failure of said town to comply with the appropriate provisions of law relative to competitive bidding in the awarding of the contract.
