CHAPTER 22 AN ACT PROVIDING FOR AN ALTERNATE MEMBER ON THE BUILDING COMMITTEE IN THE TOWN OF PROVINCETOWN.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The charter of the town of Provincetown which is on file in the office of the archivist of the commonwealth, as provided in section twelve of chapter forty-three B of the General Laws, is hereby amended by striking out section 6-5-1 and inserting in place thereof the following section:-

6-5-1. There shall be a building committee, consisting of five regular members and one alternate member appointed by the board of selectmen for three year overlapping terms so arranged that the term of at least one regular member shall expire each year.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
