CHAPTER 328 AN ACT RELATIVE TO THE FILLING OF A VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OF MAYOR OF THE CITY OF BOSTON.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 13 of chapter 452 of the acts of 1948, as appearing in section 1 of chapter 376 of the acts of 1951, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 16, the word "fourth" and inserting in place thereof the following word:- fifth.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect as of January fourth, nineteen hundred and ninety-three.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
