Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The town of Stoughton is hereby authorized to transfer the care, custody and control of a certain parcel of recreation land to the board of selectmen who are hereby authorized to convey said parcel to Helen Guffey on such terms and conditions as said board may deem appropriate. Said parcel is shown on a plan prepared by the town engineer dated October 10, 1995 and more particularly bounded and described as follows:

Beginning at a point in the westerly sideline of Park St., said point being the southeasterly parcel of land owned by Helen Guffey, said point also being the northeasterly corner of the herein described parcel;

Thence with the westerly sideline of Park St., S-19 -18'26"E a distance of 51.00 feet to a point;

Thence S-60 -58'-48"W, a distance of 100.00 feet to a point;

Thence N-85 -46'-01"W a distance of 60.35 feet to a point in the southerly line of land owned by Helen Guffey;

Thence with the southerly line of Guffey N-54 -49'-02"E a distance of 160.00 feet to the point of beginning, containing 5,579 square feet of land, more or less.
