CHAPTER 379 AN ACT RELATIVE TO REDUCING THE TERMS OF OFFICE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF APPEALS OF THE TOWN OF WAYLAND.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section twelve of chapter forty A of the General Laws, the board of selectmen of the town of Wayland is hereby authorized to appoint a board of appeals consisting of five members for overlapping terms of three years. The terms of appointment of said members shall be arranged so that the terms of not more than two members expire in any one year.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
