Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 3 of chapter 747 of the acts of 1981 is hereby amended by inserting after the word "purposes", in line 14, the following words:- , health care, or medical care and related purposes including, but not limited to, for-profit uses such as free-standing long-term care facility or assisted living units.
