CHAPTER 390 AN ACT DESIGNATING A CERTAIN BRIDGE IN THE TOWN OF NATICK AS THE VIETNAM VETERANS BRIDGE AND A CERTAIN PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE IN SAID TOWN AS THE LETTER CARRIER RICHARD WALKER WALKWAY.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. The bridge on North Main street spanning the railroad tracks in the town of Natick shall be designated and known as the Vietnam Veterans Bridge, in honor of Natick veterans who served in Vietnam. A suitable marker bearing such designation shall be attached thereto by the department of highways in compliance with the standards of said department.

SECTION 2. The pedestrian bridge on Walnut street in the town of Natick spanning the railroad tracks in said town shall be designated and known as the Letter Carrier Richard Walker Walkway, in honor of the late Richard Walker, a postal employee who served the downtown area of Natick. A suitable marker bearing such designation shall be attached thereto by the department of highways in compliance with the standards of said department.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
