Session Laws

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 6 of chapter 136 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1994 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "selling", in line 63, the following words:- of kosher wine or the selling.

SECTION 2. Section 33 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "holidays", in line 33, the following words:- ; provided, further, that a licensee who is a natural person who observes Saturday as the Sabbath by closing his place of business from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday, and who sells or delivers kosher meat or fish pursuant to clause (23) of section six of chapter one hundred and thirty-six, may sell or deliver on Sundays kosher wine, which has been labeled and certified as such.
