Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
SECTION 1. The bridge located on Walnut street and spanning U.S. Highway 1 in the town of Saugus shall be designated and known as the Saugus Disabled American Veterans Bridge. The department of highways shall erect and maintain a suitable marker on said bridge bearing said designation in compliance with the standards of said department.
SECTION 2. The bridge located on Main street and spanning U.S. Highway 1 in the town of Saugus shall be designated and known as the Saugus Veterans of Foreign Wars Bridge. The department of highways shall erect and maintain a suitable marker on said bridge bearing said designation in compliance with the standards of said department.
SECTION 3. The bridge located on Essex street and spanning U.S. Highway 1 in the town of Saugus shall be designated and known as the Saugus American Legion Post 210 Bridge. The department of highways shall erect and maintain a suitable marker on said bridge bearing said designation in compliance with the standards of said department.
SECTION 4. The bridge located on Harding Street in the town of Andover shall be designated and known as the Andover Persian Gulf War Veterans Bridge. The department of highways shall erect and maintain a suitable marker bearing said designation in compliance with the standards of said department.
SECTION 5. The bridge in Southborough on state highway route number eighty-five, spanning the Conrail tracks, shall be designated and known as the Robert R. Foley, Jr. Memorial Bridge, in honor of Robert R. Foley, Jr., in recognition of his service to his country and his ultimate sacrifice in the Vietnam War. The department of highways shall erect suitable markers bearing such designation in compliance with the standards of said department.
