CHAPTER 486 AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF PEMBROKE TO DEPOSIT THE PROCEEDS OF CERTAIN TAX FORECLOSURE SALES INTO CERTAIN ACCOUNTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Pembroke is hereby authorized to deposit the proceeds of all sales of tax foreclosed properties made on or after June twenty-ninth, nineteen hundred and ninety-six pursuant to section seventy-seven B of chapter sixty of the General Laws into the account or accounts established pursuant to paragraph (6) of subsection (c) of section two C of said chapter sixty which shall be appropriated in the manner and for the purposes stated in said paragraph (6).

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
