CHAPTER 488 AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF BOSTON TO PAY CERTAIN MEDICAL EXPENSES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section one hundred B of chapter forty-one of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the city of Boston is hereby authorized to pay to Beth Israel Hospital a sum not to exceed forty thousand eight hundred dollars and ninety-five cents for medical bills incurred through May sixteenth, nineteen hundred and ninety-two by Charles Miller, Jr., a retired member of the Boston police department.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
