Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Item 0411-2000 in section 2 of chapter 38 of the acts of 1995, as amended by section 7 of chapter 243 of the acts of 1995, is hereby further amended by striking out the wording and inserting in place thereof the following:-

For a reserve to implement a reorganization of the several executive offices; provided, however, that no more than three million nine hundred and twenty-eight thousand eight hundred and forty-three dollars shall be expended or allocated from this item until a reorganization plan for said executive offices pursuant to Article LXXXVII of the Amendments to the Constitution of the Commonwealth is submitted to the general court; and provided, further, that the governor shall submit to the general court with said reorganization plan a schedule which details the planned distribution of the funds appropriated herein.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
