Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The third paragraph of chapter 77 of the acts of 1785 is hereby amended by inserting after the word "Commonwealth", in line 7, the following words:- or within the state of Maine.
