Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Notwithstanding the provisions of section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, the licensing authority of the town of Palmer
may issue an additional license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages
to be drunk on the premises under the provisions of section 12 of said
chapter 138 to D.P.Z., Inc., d/b/a Apollo I Pizza and Restaurant. The
license shall be
subject to all the provisions of said chapter 138 except said section 17;
provided, however, that the licensing authority shall not approve the transfer
of the license to any other person, organization, corporation or location for
not less than one year. The issuance of the
license shall reduce by one any increase in the number of licenses authorized
due to census reapportionment under the provisions of said section 17.
SECTION 2.
This act shall take effect upon its passage.
