Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives
in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Notwithstanding the provisions of section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, the licensing authority in the town of Palmer
is hereby authorized to issue a license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages
to be drunk on the
premises under the provisions of section 12 of said chapter 138 to the Palmer Inn. Said license shall be subject to all the provisions of said chapter 138,
except section 17. Said licensing authority shall not approve the transfer of
said license to any other person, organization or corporation or location for
not less than one year.
SECTION 2.
This act shall take effect upon its passage.
