Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the acceptance by the town of Swampscott of section 42 of chapter 48 of the General Laws is hereby revoked.
