Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

The town of Tisbury may pay an amount not to exceed $9,092 to the Martha's Vineyard Historical Society, a 501(c)(3) corporation located in said town through 1997, for the reimbursement of real estate taxes paid for fiscal years 1995 and 1997 on Assessors Parcel 7-F-16 at 18 Beach street, also known as the Jirah Luce House. Said town of Tisbury may also appropriate and transfer the sum for said payment from the Unreserved Fund Balance.
