Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Seekonk may expend monies in each of the first 3 months of fiscal year 2006 in the amount of one-twelfth of the fiscal year 2005 budget, notwithstanding its failure to adopt a fiscal year 2006 budget.
