Senator Thomas M. McGee serves the Third Essex and Middlesex District, which includes the communities of Lynn, Marblehead, Melrose, Nahant, Saugus and Swampscott. Senator McGee is the Senate Chairman of the Joint Committee on Transportation and Vice Chair of the Veterans and Federal Affairs Committee and the Joint Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies.
