Geoff Diehl was born in Bethlehem, PA, in the shadow of Lehigh University, which he would later attend. Along the way, he would earn the rank of Eagle Scout as well as Illinois State Scholar. Following graduation from college, he worked in New York City in advertising. On a blind date, Geoff met South Shore native KathyJo Boss and a year later, they were married. They spent several years in L.A. in television production before returning to the east coast to start a family.
Moving to her home town of Whitman, Geoff became an Account Executive at Sign Design (Brockton), then Poyant Signs (New Bedford) while also assisting KathyJo with opening their small business, Boss Academy of Performing Arts (Hanson).
They have two daughters, Kaylee and Emily, and are involved with many local organizations. KathyJo is a member of the Whitman Cultural Council and supports Hanson's Little League and DARE program. Geoff is a member of the South Shore and MetroSouth Chambers of Commerce, as well as a former member of the Whitman Finance Committee and By-Law Review Committee.
